Mindfulness means knowing directly what is going on inside and outside ourselves, moment by moment. It’s about reconnecting with our bodies and the sensations they experience, having an awareness of our thoughts and feelings as they happen moment to moment.
Most of us have issues that we find hard to let go and mindfulness can help us deal with them more productively. It’s might be useful to remember that mindfulness isn’t about making these thoughts go away, but rather about seeing them as mental events.
Being mindful is very important to help us to connect with ourselves and helps us to relax. With the many thoughts that flood through our minds on a daily basis, perhaps thoughts that are driving feelings of worry, anxiety, even hopelessness, there are always two constants, our breath and our body.
Constantly thinking about the past and, or the future? Being critical of decisions you’ve made? Or looking to the future with fear and apprehension? Feeling out of control? Reacting to situations? Your mind filled with negative thoughts? Constantly feeling on edge?
Through Mindfulness sessions with me, I can help you train your mind to focus more of your attention on the present moment. By using some simple techniques which I have learned and practiced for more than 15 years, I will help you to introduce more calm, balance and control over your thoughts.
