Think about an area within your home where there is clutter, it may be a room, it may be in a cupboard. As you do this, reflect on how thinking about this area makes you feel. Chances are, the thoughts and feelings you have about this will not be positive. Now think about the same area, only this time, see it as neat and tidy, uncluttered, the way you want it. Now, recognise your thoughts and feelings and how this neat, tidy, uncluttered area makes you feel. De-cluttering can have a very positive impact on our mindset and can turn negative thinking about a situation into a positive one.
